The Right: News & Editorials At Least That's What We're Calling It

NEWS IS "WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, WHY AND HOW". AnYTHING ELSE IS AN OPINION. When you CARE WHAT THE REPORTER THINKS, you GET PARTISAN PROPAGANDA, disguised as NEWS.

I’m all for editorializing, since that’s actually the purpose of my blog. But this is just a blog. I don’t pretend to be a reporter or journalist. I’m just expressing an opinion. But my major in college was Broadcast Journalism, so I know what news is and what it isn’t. And most of what passes for news today is just punditry…not news. There’s only one reason why I should care what any of these people think: I want them to agree with me. This is why Walter Cronkite never could’ve made it in today’s media world. Or Ed Bradley, Max Robinson or Tim Russert. In all the years I watched them, I never knew if they were Democrat or Republican, or what they thought about anything. Ever. So I consider myself truly fortunate to have lived in those times, and witnessed real investigative journalism. I feel sorry for kids in Journalism school today. They have no idea that there was a time when news was about keeping America informed, not partisan propaganda.
