Educate Yourself

Hear from the experts what you can (and Can't) do in VR

Maybe $300 or $400 dollars is lunch money for you, but for people like me, that’s a lot to spend on really anything, much less a toy. It’s an investment, so it had better be a good one. My suggestion: Do your homework. Learn about it. Find out the answers to your questions before you spend the money so you don’t end up with a $300 paperweight.

Whether you’re new to VR, a seasoned enthusiast, or you’re just curious and thinking of buying a headset, these people are the ones getting paid to know how it all works. So take all the time you need to learn about this amazing technology. I’m a fan of the Oculus Quest 2, but there are lots of other headsets out there. The more you learn before you buy, the less time you’ll spend trying to figure it out once you get your headset.
