This guy…he’s clearly Asian, but he lives in Brazil. He’s clearly a B-boy, but gets his kicks dancing to Indian Bhangra…and he does it extremely well. I don’t mean Bollywood. That’s more of a science than a dance style. But you either get Bhangra or you don’t. Dude just kinda does his own thing to the music and it really, seriously works. Now I’ve made mention of the fact that I don’t really feel anything watching Asian men dance. The girls are fire, but the guys…it’s like they’re trying too hard to look like they’re not trying too hard. And they’re not hard. At all. I mean, look at these guys. There’s nothing worse than a guy trying to look gangsta when he just isn’t. But not this guy. The difference is that he’s not actually trying. He’s really feeling it. He may not look hard, but he’s sure dancing like it. He’s a force of Nature. I can’t figure out what planet Rikimaru Chikada is from, but wherever it is, the people must be made out of rubber. He’s flexible in ways I didn’t think were possible. And his Michael Jackson imitation is so good, it’s like he’s channeling him from the grave. I just love watching this guy. He can dance to anything.

Dude's got his own thing going on in Brazil, but if you watch enough of these videos, he clearly must be making dollars with it because he somehow manages to make everybody else's class in L.A. I guess he's soaking up whatever they have to teach and figuring out how to make it into something he can use. If this is what they're doing in Brazil, I need to go back there. As dancing goes, Brazil was the most fun I've ever had. They dance at the drop of a hat down there…just because it's Tuesday.
