You’re made of way sterner stuff than I am if those sirens don’t send your guts plummeting to the floor when they go off. They’re air raid sirens, designed to send you running for cover…and they work. I can’t imagine what the Blitz must’ve been like in London, having those damned things go off at all hours of the night when the Nazis were on their way. If you’re the kind of person who likes to watch, just make sure you know where your shelter is before you go outside, and that you can get to it fast if the hellish thing comes for you. Or…you can test drive a tornado here. Be sure to use headphones. Tornados have to be heard to truly appreciate them.
