This guy is one helluva choreographer. I’m not the biggest fan of his music choices, but in fairness, he doesn’t have a lot to choose from nowadays. Today’s artists are cool. But TPain is no Busta Rhymes. Justin Bieber is no Michael Jackson. Luckily for us, Wildabeast isn’t afraid to reach back into the past and grab some real music that’s truly danceable. I had to consider that when choosing what to present. He can only dance to what’s out there. When the music is good, Wildabeast’s choreography is truly inspired. And yes…that’s Rikimaru Chikada working on his moves in Wildabeast’s class. And he owned this routine, like he was channeling Michael Jackson.

So…why did I lead with Michael Jackson? Because the tribute Wildabeast does to him in "Another Part of Me" brought me to tears. Michael would be so incredibly proud of the legacy he's left in these kids. They're amazing. So much of what they bring to dance today started with the Michael Jackson I remember from "back in the day". Michael would be almost 70 today. But as long as choreographers like Wildabeast are doing stuff like this, he will never EVER be forgotten.
