Roadtripping With Gina

Brooklyn

Brooklyn, In My Opinion

There are good and bad spots in every town. But if I lived in New York, Brooklyn is where I’d want to be. It’s the quintessential New York of 19th-century brownstones with big, giant stoops out front, and quaint basement apartments. I can’t speak to how much they cost, but if I had the means to buy in New York, you can keep Manhattan. Brooklyn feels more like a neighborhood, where people actually, you know…really live. I know that city living isn’t for everybody. But I just don’t know how you look at this and not think “I want to go there. I want to BE THERE!” The first time I visited, I was 15 years old, and I knew then that if I ever had the chance to live there, it would have to be Brooklyn.

Walk The Neighborhood

Move the mouse on top of the little gold man on the map. Hold down the left mouse button and you’ll see blue lines appear. Those lines are streets. Drag and drop the little man on top of the street you want and let go of the mouse button. The picture on the right will change to show you a view of that street along with the street name. Click the arrows on the street to “walk” around. Or you can double-click the street to walk if there’s an arrow under your cursor. Roll the middle mouse button to zoom in and out. That’s all there is to it. Now get out there and explore!
