Go For A Walk

Sausalito & The Bay Islands

These rustic little fishing villages are where people with real power and money can live the good life without attracting unwanted attention. They invite you to walk everywhere  every chance you get. It’s not the kind of place you want to drive past quickly. It’s the kind of place you visit and never want to leave. You never know who’s who in that unassuming coffee shop. You could be standing next to some of the richest, most powerful people in America and never know it, because they’re wearing a pair of old jeans and driving a Jeep. They don’t need mansions. They might just as easily have a nice little houseboat, or they live on a yacht. They’re not looking for notoriety. Their names are never in the news. They look and act like normal people so they can run to Starbucks for a cup of coffee, or take a spin on a motorcycle without being hounded by median. But they got to Tiburon because they’re sharks. The town is named “shark” for all the sharks that live in the bay. And just like sharks, you never see them coming.
