Food & Accommodations

Thinking about going to Belgium in real life? Here is some information that might help you to find a great place to stay, or where to eat. You’re not going to have a hard time finding great food anywhere in Belgium. But there’s such a thing as being overwhelmed by a wealth of choices. And there’s always price to consider, not to mention the language barrier. Not all menus have translations. You can always ask someone to help you with the menu. But never forget…everybody knows what a hamburger is. You can’t go wrong with that!

About Amsterdam…

It’s by far one of the cleanest and most beautiful places I’ve ever digitally explored, and the cities appear to be wonderfully diverse. But what stands out most about it to me is how rich everybody seems to be. The Swiss enjoy a standard of living that is ridiculously high. One we used to enjoy in the United States. You don’t see junk cars on the streets or miles of ramshackle housing like you do in Detroit. It’s just beautiful cities and quaint little villages that somehow manage to exist without destroying all the Nature around it. No greedy land developers looking to build on every cubic inch of land.

Of course, that could be because so much of the land is mountainous, and absolutely breathtaking. Nature gives them no choice but to be judicious in their use of space, not just because it’s hard to build on but because it’s so freakishly beautiful. You’d have to be crazy to cover all this loveliness in condos. I’m giving you lots of opportunities to drive the mountains, which are just terrifying in size, but breathtaking to behold. You drive in summer or winter. Either one will have you sitting in bewildered awe at the majesty of Switzerland.
